This year the cadet theme is "Knotted Together in Christ". The 4th thru 8th graders will be working on their badges to get them ready for the International Camporee in Aug. 2011. The camporee will be at Camp Whitetail in the Big Rapids area of Michigan. This is a camping adventure for all the boys that qualify for the event. It will require badges in: camp cooking, fire building, axemanship, knots and lashing as well as a Saturday certification course. We counselors have a couple ideas for fund raisers to help offset the costs, so that any boy that is eligible and desires to go, can.
The 1st thru 3rd graders will be working on badges and doing all sorts of fun projects also.
