GEMS is a ministry for girls in grades 1 through 8. They meet every other Wednesday evening from September through May (see church calendar for specific meeting dates). In GEMS, girls learn about having a living relationship with Jesus Christ; they participate in team building exercises; enjoy dynamic singing, creative movement, and dance; make creative and fun crafts; and find answers to challenges that face girls today. Our GEMS girls have a ton of fun!!
Our theme for the year is “Feed the Fire”.
Our theme verse is “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” Romans 12:11
Our goal this year is to fire up a PASSION for serving the Lord by learning to:
Pray constantly
And
Study God’s Word
Serve others
Interact with God’s people
Open up and talk about God
Notice God in the ordinary
